OUR STAFF
Pastor Michael Davis
Senior Pastor
Pastor Michael grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and he felt the call to ministry early in life. With a heart for God and a passion for His people, Pastor Michael is committed to sharing the life-changing message of Jesus Christ and helping others grow in their faith.
Pastor Michael met his wife Christie at college in Fort Worth where they both attended, and they married in 2011. Pastor Michael went on to earn his Master of Divinity and then took a break from school with their first child on the way in 2016, before going on to earn his Doctor of Ministry in 2024. He served in youth and college ministries and as a youth pastor for ten years in Texas before moving to Western NY to serve as a lead pastor in 2019; he feels humbled, blessed, and thrilled to now serve at FBC Peekskill (2024). Pastor Michael is passionate about preaching, teaching, discipleship, counseling, and pastoral care (and he enjoys playing guitar and drums, too!).
Pastor Michael and Christie have three beautiful daughters and in their free time they enjoy taking them to play outdoors, to trampoline parks, going for ice cream treats, and visiting new places.
As a pastor, Michael strives to create a community where people of all backgrounds can encounter God’s grace. His teaching style emphasizes biblical truth, personal application, and practical discipleship. Above all, Pastor Michael is dedicated to walking alongside church members in their spiritual journey and equipping them to make a positive impact in the world for Jesus.
Pastor Corby Angle
Teaching Pastor
Pastor Corby grew up in an atheist home and has lived all over the world including in Asia, Europe, and the United States. In November of 2003, after moving to New York and attending First Baptist Church of Peekskill for almost three years, he surrendered his life to Christ.

When the pastor who had mentored him accepted a call to another church, the elders, seeing his passion and calling, asked Pastor Corby to join the staff in that role. In September of 2010, he left his career in investment banking and joined the staff as the minister of evangelism and discipleship, later becoming our teaching pastor. God has given him a passion for evangelism, discipleship, missions, and teaching.

Pastor Corby and his wife Debra have been married over 42 years, have three children, six grandchildren and love serving in the church and visiting family and, when the opportunity presents itself, Pastor Corby has been known to go fly whatever airplane he can get his hands on.
